  • Frequently Asked Questions

When does a new boiler need servicing?

You should ensure that your boiler is serviced every year. A yearly service is regular enough to keep your boiler in good working condition.

    What is a hive thermostat?

It is a thermostat that Wirelessly connects to a receiver which allows you to control your heating and water temperature at home. Hive Hub Connects your Hive products so you can control them remotely with their app wherever you are. Just plug into your broadband router, and you will be up and running.

What is a power flush, and why would i need it?

A power flush is a cleansing process which gets rid of sludge that has built up inside your central heating system. If this sludge is left in your system, it could have an impact on the efficiency of your heating system by restricting even distribution of heat around your home.

A power flush could be a solution to clean and maintain your central heating system. Eventually, the sludge in your system could also cause severe blockages and damage, leading to a costly breakdown to repair. During a power flush, water is sent rapidly through the system to remove debris and sludge.
